Three days ago i finally succeeded in completing a task which usually takes much of my mental energy. Someone might be guessing what task could that be?.... hmmn, it is no other task at this time of the year for me other than setting goals for the next 365 days there about. Maybe i also have some witness in the house who are in a similar shoe as i am. I came across a quote by Charles Sheldon which says "Good resolutions are like babies crying in church, they should be carried out immediately". This quote got me laughing however its a statement of truth. In the course of my facilitation with entrepreneurs i realise quite a number of people don't actually set goals for their businesses and even their own personal lives and the common excuse i get is that things are not predictable in this part of the world and so its worthless setting goals. We are in a season characterized by CHANGE. Change like we know is the only thing that is constant about life; this however could be negative or positive. Sometimes change announces its arrival at other time it is sudden. Whichever dimension change exudes we need not get ourselves agitated unnecessarily about it but rather position ourselves to accept it and make the needed adjustment in our lives. My question now is, how much change are you prepared for in 2010? Changing times require change and it’s often a time for the discovery and release of hidden potentials. Looking through the Bible we have stories of people who got into limelight at seemingly critical moments. David’s ability to confront and conquer Goliath, Joseph became a prime minister in the time of famine, Daniel emerged as a leader in his own time. You are welcome on board to new and exciting journey into the year 2010. I would be your regular host on this blog and it promises to be fun all through. The launch of this blog is one of my long incubated dreams and i want to thank God that it has finally been birthed. One of my goals for the year 2010 is to be a blessing and add value to as many lives, businesses and organizations as God grants me the Grace to. I believe you all out there are as excited as i am, i recognize that we are in a season of change both as a nation and as individuals. i also believe serious preparations and adjustments are required to survive at such a time as this.
